I prefer to work in a bold, stylized, colourful, form, which is strongly influenced by my New Zealand, pacific background. Most of my work is in oil as it gives a depth of colour and sharpness I find, not always achievable with acrylic.

I like to incorporate the interesting, unusual characteristics, quirks and traits that make up the individuality of the subjects personality, incorporating their hobbies and life style and portraying these in a humorous and fun way.
